We do not charge for any of our work, and, yet, the Elders need to be honored for their time and their wisdom. We ask anyone requesting the time, care, and wisdom of the Elders and wisdomkeepers to consider What you can give, in reciprocity? Honorariums help Elders to be available to engage in sharing their cultural wisdom and sustain their families and communities. We are on a journey to heal human relationships with money; we engage with money as a nourishing energy that can help us support worthy work and multiply its effect, to have an exchange that's good for all. So, please consider the value you see in the teachings; what would you feel comfortable paying, given your budget? If it helps, Ilarion has received honorariums within a very large range (anywhere between $100-$5,000 USD), so please don't feel pressured by a specific amount. We understand it's quite a different way of relating with money than what most of us are taught all our lives, and we appreciate you contemplating and deciphering how you can participate in honoring the Elders.
